No Time Like the Present

Just as suddenly as I stopped blogging, I suppose I will just suddenly start again.

I saw a lady's blog about her sewing adventures and it dawned on me that I probably should record what I've made somewhere. Just kind of fun to have your things all in one place. Well it's too late for that, but imperfection is what I"m aiming for this year.

In 2016 I have finished:
• The “Monet skirt” for Edith
• The “Soor ploom skirt” for Edith
• Drawstring bags for Edie and Henry
• Linen tote for Edie
• Aprons (2) for my neice
• Bonnet for Henry
• Nap mat for Edith
• Lovey / mini blanket for Henry
• Culottes for Edith
• Another bonnet for Henry
• Long pink/princess skirt for Edith (then hemmed short)
• Bib for Henry (bed liner fabric on one side)
• Bib for Henry (kishubaby bib knockoff)
• Teething pads for Henry (using ikea face clothes)
• Teething pads for my new neice (using quilt batting)
• More drawstring bags (one can never have enough)

Many more things I "have" to make. Drawstring bags for all! I would love to make something for myself but hey, probably not gonna do that because...well...I feel like I'm already doing something for myself by sewing. But I may also need to pack away the sewing because of other goals for the year. It said that just before Henry's birth and I could not bear to say goodbye to my cheapie sewing machine, so we'll see what happens! Until then, I wish you a happy drawstring bag kind of day.
